I know that the BMC credo is resist judging all ye who enter here, but as I think I've amply demonstrated, I tend to not resist it so much when faced with evil and/or stupidity. Richard Heene, I think, embodies both.
Heene, better known as That Guy Who Faked Sending His Kid Up In A Goddamned Hot Air Balloon To Get On Reality TV aka The Narcissistic Dipshit To End All Narcissistic Dipshits, taped an interview with Larry King this week - it will air later today - in which he cries and moans and insists that it wasn't a hoax and that he just, you know, lied about it being a hoax because, you know, his wife.
You can watch part of it at Jezebel. Have a barf bag on hand.
The thing that gets me about this is that HE IS STILL GETTING ATTENTION. I actually kind of don't give a fuck - pardon le french - whether he faked it or not: that he was constructing spacecraft to send his children skyward in the name of getting the Discovery Channel to create a show featuring his Stupid Parenting Tricks is enough to convince me that he's an idiot. That he faked the whole thing at least demonstrates that he had enough prudence to not shove his kid in there, an issue that I'm sure was a matter of some debate around the kitchen table chez Balloon People. Whatever. I just want him to go away, because he makes me want to smack something. No, not him - we are devoted pacifists and vocal opponents of spanking here at the Bad Moms Club - just, something.
A balloon, maybe. With his face on it.
Or, you could hit HIM with a ballon with his face on it. Really hard.
Douchedad.

I hope nobody watches the Larry King segment. The only thing that will make this loser disappear is if we all ignore his stupid stunts.

I saw this family when they were on WifeSwap & wanted to smack him then...my feelings have not changed.
