Bad Moms Are Patriotic: Patriotic For BACON CAKE

Does anything scream Canada more than bacon?

Okay, maybe maple syrup, hockey, toques, and beavers, but bacon definitely rounds out the top five. And both my daughter and I love eating eating bacon with maple syrup on the side while wearing toques and watching hockey, so, you know, we're a pretty patriotic family.

Anyway. Bacon is a beautiful thing in my books, and being patriotic is also a beautiful thing, so I think that for my girl's next birthday I'll commission one of these:

Yes, that's bacon cake. To clarify, it's not a cake made out of bacon, but a cake made to look like bacon. So it's bacon-inspired cake which is, like, totally win-win, because my daughter will love it and I will love it and we will be able to eat it all and neither of us will exceed our daily recommended doses of sodium and bacon fat.

I'd make some real bacon to go on the side, though. That's how much I love bacon.
