You know that we went to Disney World last week. You also know that we went - supported by GM Canada - so that I could run the Princess Half-Marathon, to raise awareness of Muscular Dystrophy, the condition that is killing my nephew. And if you know all of this, you probably also know that I failed to run it, and that I am struggling with feeling like I suck, which I know that I don't, but still.
And you don't know any of this, well, you can catch up by clicking through the above links. Or you could just read about Tutus For Tanner.
Tutus For Tanner is an effort by my big-hearted - giant-hearted - friends to honor the effort that I made last weekend, and to carry it forward, for Tanner. They're all going to - with me, with you, with anyone who cares enough to join in - wear tutus in all their runs, all this year. For Tanner, who can't run, but who nonetheless appreciates a good tutu-clad pixie impersonator.
Join us? You know you want to. And I'd love it if you would.
I'm doing the Mississauga Half marathon in May - would you like to join me? We could wear Tuttu's together and you could avenge the Disney attempt.
