How To Be A Good Bad Parent: Tips From The Obamas, What's On TV Tonight Edition

The so-called Good Parent bans television from their household. The bad - "bad" as in Bad - parent lets their children watch a reasonable - I'll leave "reasonable" open to creative interpretation - and curated amount of television. The bad-bad parent lets their children watch Jersey Shore.

The Obamas, you'll be glad to know, are neither "Good" nor "bad-bad." They let Sasha and Malia enjoy television, but they do not - repeat, they do not - allow them to watch Jersey Shore. Just, you know, in case you were wondering whether Jersey Shore was appropriate children's programming.

It's not. Now you know.

Daycare Busted For Drugging Tots; Charges On Stupidity Pending

Wow, this story almost made me drop my beloved coffee mug (don't worry, mommy's little enabler is just fine). A daycare in Cincinnati is being investigated for drugging kids in order to get them settled at nap time. There is an allegation that daycare employees put melatonin in candy which was then fed to some of the thirty-seven children in their care.They were doping the candy, people.
