Let's get this party started!
We asked and boy did you answer. We've heard so many insightful suggestions from all corners of the Canadian blogosphere on the issues you believe we should act on together for the next 12 months. Your ideas have flooded in at Mama Karma, on our Facebook group, by email and right here.
We're all terribly excited to get really moving on this. But before we can join forces with BlogHer and discuss action plans, we need to choose what it is we'll be taking action on.
You told us that the Canadian issues you'd most like considered for this initiative are:
Aboriginal rights
Child abuse
Child porn/child exploitation
Child poverty in Canada
Childcare
Children's mental health
Domestic violence
Environment
Healthcare
Homelessness
Hospital for Sick Children
Increase participation of women in Canadian politics
LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) rights
Support for teen and single moms
But how will we choose between these equally deserving and critical causes?
Many of of you have helped by blogging it. You told the blogosphere what you were passionate about and why it should (or shouldn't) be a priority for BlogHers Act Canada. Please take a read through this list of phenomenal posts to help make your decision...

It is not too late to lend your voice and to focus the spotlight on a specific direction. If you write a post, let us know and we'll add it to this list for everyone to read.
And now we put this in your hands ... it's time to vote!

Visit the BlogHers Act Canada survey until midnight on July 22nd. That is one week to think and debate and ultimately to decide where you'll cast your vote.
Thanks to everyone who has been involved in this so far. Together we can make a difference!
And the first step to making that difference is to go vote in the BlogHers Act Canada survey now!
I'm a little late, but I've added my post for the BlogHers ACT Canada initiative at my blog. It's a little long-winded, but needless to say I'm passionate about it.
It touches on many of the issues that others have posted on (child abuse, homelessness, child poverty) but it all falls under the more general issue of child advocacy.
